hello. hello. - Mikati Slade Artwork
[Description]
hello. hello. offers an uncritical look at our social constructs of reality.
It is about what we want to hear and see, as opposed to what we often hear and see.
It is about the most adorable human forms, unwavering smiles, and friendly attitudes.
It is about a spontaneity without doubt or hesitation.
A measure of these qualities is present in children.
hello. hello. reflects this.

POP ATOMIC - Mikati Slade Artwork at BURN2 2010
BURN2 is biggest festival of art in online virtual world Second Life.
Too many artists having exhibitions in there and I built my artwork in there too.
The festival also have many kind of events.
[About exhibition "POP ATOMIC"]
Mikati Slade (Japan)
The ATOMIC bomb changed the Japanese people forever.
8-bit console games are a loving part of Japan's POP culture nowadays.
I felt that both the atomic bomb and the 8-bit consoles are powerful symbols of 20th century's civilization, at least as experienced by the Japanese people.
And, so, POP ATOMIC was born.
Enjoy it and lets discuss it together. Arigato^^
Emily Lang (Greece)
Mikati has been a long-time business partner and friend.
She talked to me about her concept for this year's Burn2 event.
I loved it and asked her if she needed any help.
Luckily she did and I contributed my part :)
